Salary:

Salary for this position varies between $65,000 and $85,000. This will depend upon experience level and skill-set, among other factors. We offer profit sharing and benefits after 90 days as well as commissions on sales immediately.

Job Duties:

  • Work primarily in a project implementation role that involves the configuration and deployment of complete business IT solutions. This includes servers, workstations, networks, VOIP, Cloud environments, Azure / M365, wireless, and other common technologies, as well as onboarding new clients.
  • Working efficiently and communicating effectively with clients in a courteous manner is a must.
  • Document remote and/or onsite support activity in ticketing system and continually update client information on file.
  • Recommend additional services / solutions that will help clients (hand off to sales team)
  • This position will also serve as an escalation point for our help desk if the customer issue falls outside of our support staff's area of expertise.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills – Although this is a business based in technology, the relationships with clients come first!!!
  • 10 years experience in an IT support role -- MSP experience is highly preferred!
  • Knowledge and experience configuring firewalls, switches, wireless technologies, VLANs; Net+ and/or CCNA highly preferred.
  • Experience with Windows Servers, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365 Administration.
  • Understanding of virtualization technologies including VMware and Hyper-V.
  • Experienced with end user desktop support including desktop hardware repair, drive replacement and disk imaging practices, operating system installation, malware remediation, and email system troubleshooting.
  • Self-driven and ability to work both independently, in a team environment, and act confidently in front of clients even when faced with difficult challenges.

You will be working with Autotask as a PSA / Ticketing System, and n-central / SolarWinds as the RMM tool. You will be a part of a very small project team, with one other primary project delivery technician, with several remote team members to back you up and provide assistance.

You will have a company vehicle, company laptop, company cell phone, and company tools / equipment. This is going to be a hybrid work environment with some work from the office, from home, and on-site.
